Greene County voters can still cast their ballots ahead of the November 8th general election.
According to the Greene County Auditor’s Office, any eligible county voter can vote early in the auditor’s office from 8am-4:30pm Monday through Friday. Today is also the last day that voters can fill out and submit a request for an absentee ballot to be mailed out. Deputy Auditor Billie Hoskins tells Raccoon Valley Radio that as of Friday morning, there were 531 residents who have requested an absentee ballot and of those 100 people have voted in person since last Wednesday.
Hoskins notes their office will also be open on Saturday, November 5th from 9am-5pm for those wanting to vote early. Individuals are reminded to bring their photo identification when wanting to vote. Contact the auditor’s office at 515-386-5680 for more information.
