The Guthrie Center School Board recently approved a company to look at their facilities.
Superintendent Josh Rasmussen says the Board passed to have Denovo Construction Solutions to do a facilities conditions assessment of the facilities in the school district. Rusmussen explains that Denovo Construction Solutions will help them create plan to improve and replace items like their Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning System while trying to stay fiscally responsible.
“They’re really just going to assess the conditions of our facility. So they’ll look at things, everything from the carpet and the classrooms, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, like I said, carpeting, tile light. So they’re really going to give us just an assessment of what we have.”
He also says once Denovo assesses what they have they will put together a priority list for the School Board to look at. The Board approved a fixed fee of $11,650 to be billed upon completion of the services.
