Thursday, October 20th
4:54am: A deputy investigated a report of smoke in the 400 blk of Orchard Ave.
9:39am: A deputy was dispatched to an accident in the 1500 blk of 220th Street. Unit one was a white 2018 Dodge Durango being operated by Sealeana Smith (25) of Grand Junction. Unit two was a 2022 Ford F250 being operated by Dustin Dolan (22) of West Des Moines. Both vehicles were traveling westbound, Dolan was slowing down to make a turn and Smith struck the rear of his vehicle. Dolan’s vehicle had estimated damages of $10,000 and Smith’s had an estimated damage of $5,000. Smith was cited for failure to stop in assured clear distance.
2:23pm: Danielle Eastman (36) of Jefferson was booked into Jail for Theft 5th Degree.
6:37pm: A deputy arrested Candi Lamerti (38) of Grimes on outstanding warrants.
7:10pm: A deputy was advised of a ditch fire in the 2400 blk of 130th Street. Paton Fire Department also responded.
7:18pm: A deputy responded to a car versus deer accident in the 1000 blk of 220th Street. The driver Vicki Padgett (64) of Lake City was operating a 2002 maroon Chevrolet Impala. The deer struck the front grill of the vehicle and caused an estimated $500 of damages.
7:45pm: A deputy arrested Melissa Rysavy (27) in the 900 blk of Irving Street in Scranton on outstanding warrants.
8:15pm: Melissa Rysavy (27) was booked into the jail on warrants for violation of no contact order out of Boone County.
11:40pm: A deputy assisted Greene County EMS in the 1200 blk 237th Street.
Friday, October 21st
3:09am: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a traffic stop. The Jefferson Officer arrested the driver Kinfer Esefan (43) of St. Joseph, Missouri for Operating While Intoxicated.
3:59am: Kinfer Esefan (43) of St. Joseph was booked into the jail. Esefan was charged with operating while intoxicated 1st offense.
6:16am: A deputy assisted Greene County EMS in the 700 blk of Walnut Street, Scranton.
8:07am: A deputy was advised of a careless driver in the 500 blk of N Avenue.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
