The Panorama Panthers ended their 2022 season last week. Here’s a look back at the season.
The Panthers started the year on the road taking on Perry. It was a Week 0 matchup. It was a close game into the fourth quarter, but the Panthers would take over and win the game 39-21. However, that game was moved to being a scrimmage because Perry forfeited the rest of their varsity season.
Panorama would win their next game in Week 1 against Colfax-Mingo 57-33. After that the Panthers would have a rough 2022. They would lose six straight to Pella Christian (3-61), Central Decatur (27-61), Van Meter (3-69), Interstate 35 (0-47), West Central Valley (14-49), and ACGC (26-48). They would end the season with a win over Nodaway Valley giving a final record of 2-6 for 2022.
The Panthers had a strong start to the season, but the schedule was very tough for a young team to overcome. Four of their six losses were to teams that are currently in the playoffs. Despite the record, the future still looks bright for the Panthers.
