Adel=DeSoto-Minburn Tigers cross country will be aiming to find teams and runners advance to Fort Dodge by the end of the day, as both teams will be looking to put up a strong performance at Glenwood.

The rest of the field for this race will include Atlantic, Clarke, Creston, Denison- Schleswig, Glenwood, Harlan, Kuemper Catholic, Lewis Central, Perry, Saydel, and Sergeant Bluff-Luton.

Last year, the boys team was able to qualify while the girls were only able to get runner Geneva Timmerman in, with both teams will have hopes of finding a way to make it to the state race in 3A.

Conditions are expected to be cool and cloudy, with hopes that wind will not have too much of a factor on the race. ADM teams will be looking to find some personal bests on times throughout the day, and will work to run at a good pace.

The event will be taking place at Glenwood Lake Park with a 4 o’clock first run, as ADM teams will be looking to put together a strong performance.
