10:30am: A deputy investigated a criminal mischief complaint in the 300 block of Hill Street, Churdan.

10:50am: David Kersey 51 of Ames was booked into the jail for a probation violation.

4:03pm: The Sheriff, deputies, Grand Junction Rescue, and Greene County Ambulance responded to a medical call in the 300 block of Lovejoy Street, Rippey.

4:20pm: Marvin Sarceno Jr 20 of Perry was booked into the jail to serve a sentence.

6:11pm: A deputy investigated a theft in the 1100 block of U Avenue. Cory Nevitt 21 of Menlo was arrested for assault.

7:07pm: A deputy investigated an alarm in the 1000 block of Main Street, Scranton.

9:21pm: Logan Staley 31 of Webster City was booked into the jail for a probation violation.

9:50pm: A deputy investigated a domestic in the 600 block of South 15th Street, Grand Junction.

11:23pm: Cory Nevitt 21 of Menlo was booked into the jail for assault.

Saturday, October 15th

5:52am: A deputy investigated a car deer accident on 220th Street near R Avenue. Amber Passow 37 of Farnhamville struck a deer with a 2021 Toyota Rav4 causing an estimated 8,000 dollars in damage.

10:48am: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on I Avenue near 110th Street.

12:53pm: A deputy investigated a theft in the 200 block of South 6th Street, Grand Junction.

6:36pm: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on Highway 144 and X Avenue.

9:30pm: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with trying to locate a vehicle.

Sunday, October 16th

10:26am: The Greene County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant in the 400 block of 130th Street. Suspected Controlled substances and drug paraphernalia were seized. Charges are pending lab results.

1:50pm: The Greene County Sheriff’s Office and the Jefferson Police Department conducted a search warrant in the 100 block of East Central Street, Jefferson. Suspected controlled substances and drug paraphernalia were seized. Charges are pending lab results.

7:08pm: A deputy investigated a car deer accident on 237th Street near Jordan Avenue. Anthony Bainter 34 of Jefferson struck a deer with a 2005 Dodge Ram causing an estimated 200 dollars damage.

7:27pm: A deputy investigated an illegal burn in the 1000 block of East Railroad Street, Grand Junction.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
