Tuesday, October 11th
2:00am: While on patrol an Officer located an open business door in the 600 block of East Lincoln Way. The Officer checked the property and secured the door.
3:50pm: An Officer was dispatched to the Greene County Jail, 204 South Chestnut Street for a female on the property with an active Greene County Arrest Warrant. Candice Marie Ortiz was placed under arrest for “Fail to Appear – Driving While Barred”
4:25pm: Monica Fitsgibbon of Jefferson requested to speak with an Officer in reference to harassment. The Officer is investigating.
5:57pm: An Officer issued a Parking Citation to Joshua Brent of Jefferson for “Parking – Wrong Direction”
6:42pm: The Greene County Sheriff Office requested a City Officer assist in locating an elderly male and check his welfare. The Officer assisted as requested.
10:23pm: An Officer was dispatched to a business in the 100 block of West Washington Street for an alarm activation. The Officer found the property was secure and an employee was notified.
******* As a result of an investigation started on August 12, 2022, Tanisha May Dillinger of Jefferson was charged with, “Possession of Drug Paraphernalia” and “Possession of Marijuana- 1 st ”
******** As a result of an investigation started on August 12, 2022, George Joseph Glasgow of Jefferson was charged with “Possession of Drug
Paraphernalia” and Possession of Controlled Substance – 3rd or Sub.”
******** As a result of an investigation started on August 12, 2022, Destiny Ann George of Jefferson was charged with “Possession of Drug Paraphernalia”, “Possession of Methamphetamine”, and “Unlawful Possession of Prescription Drug”
Wednesday, October 12th
9:28am: An Officer completed a funeral escort for Hasting Funeral Home to the Jefferson City Cemetery.
10:57am: Marissa McFee of Jefferson reported a stray dog in the 300 block of Edgewood Avenue. The Officer picked up the dog and transported it to the animal holding facility.
12:46pm: Carol Cower of Marysville, OH, reported a theft of property having originated in Jefferson, The Officer is investigating.
4:31pm: Angela Dudley of Jefferson reported harassment from two former roommates. The Officer investigated and found nothing criminal had occurred.
10:50pm: The Wild Rose Casino requested assistance removing a customer from the property. Upon arrival the Officer was shown to the customer, identified as Perry Edholm of Arcadia. It was reported Edholm was told to leave the property by staff due to his suspected intoxication and disruptive behavior. The Officer investigated and as a result, Edholm was placed under arrested for “Trespassing – 1st Offense”, “Interference with Official Acts”, and “Public Intoxication – 1st Offense”
********** As a result of an investigation started on July 29, 2022, Devon Bradley King of Jefferson was charged with “Unlawful Possession of Prescription Drug”, “Possession of Drug Paraphernalia”, “Possession of Marijuana – 1st Offense”, “Possession of Methamphetamine – 3rd or Sub.”, “Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver”
Thursday, October 13th
7:28am: An Officer assisted a motorist at 220th St. and Oakland Ave.
10:29am: An Officer was advised of a dog running at large in the 1100 block of S. Elm St. The Officer caught the dog and returned it to the owner.
11:51am: A traffic stop at Elm St. and Edgewood Ave. resulted in Barbara Lightfoot, of Bagley, being issued a citation for “Operating Non Registered Vehicle”.
12:12pm: A traffic stop at Park St. and Vine St. resulted in Blake Murphy, of Churdan, being issued a citation for “Driving While Suspended, Revoked, Canceled, or Denied”.
12:23pm: An Officer was called to the 100 block of W. Reed St. in regards to a Harassment issue. The Officer is investigating.
4:15pm: An Officer assisted GCMC staff with chemical testing.
4:22pm: A traffic stop at Grimmell Rd. and Central St. resulted in Chantelle Grove, of Coon Rapids, being issued a citation for “Excessive Speed”.
7:16pm: An Officer was called to the 100 block of W. Reed St. in regards to a Harassment issue. The Officer is investigating.
