Greene County plays at the Winterset Tournament today and Paton-Churdan goes west to Mondamin as the high school volleyball regular season ends for both. On Monday, Greene County opens Class 3A Region 2 play in Jefferson vs. OABCIG (Ida Grove) while Paton-Churdan goes to Newell on Monday to begin 1A Region 3 action vs. number 6 Newell-Fonda. Both postseason matches start at 7 p.m.

Today, Coach Chris Heisterkamp’s team tries to finish the regular season strong in what has traditionally been a tough tournament for the Rams. The Rams clinched their second straight winning season with a win in straight sets on Thursday vs. Saydel (Des Moines) in Jefferson.

P-C plays today in the Rolling Valley Activities Conference tournament. The Rockets got in the win column for the first time this season with a straight set victory over West Harrison in Churdan on Tuesday.
