An Adel business is having a special celebration event later today.

The Grand Opening Fall Festival for Raccoon River Preschool, located at 28059 Fairground Road in Adel, is today from 4-6pm. There will be a free will donation dinner with pulled pork sandwiches or hotdogs, along with different sides, popcorn, desserts and cider. Additionally, there will be hayrack rides, face painting and outdoor games for kids and families to enjoy.

A ribbon cutting is planned for 4:30pm to officially welcome the non-profit organization to the community.
