The Perry School Board will meet Monday night.

The meeting will start with a public hearing on the plans and specifications for a kitchen remodel project at the elementary school, followed by consideration of approving the project. The Board will also consider for approval the architect’s opinion for probable construction costs and an agreement with the owner and contractor for the project. 

Additionally, the Board will consider for approval the special education services contract for Student 1 with Metro West Learning Center, an increase of interpreters for parent-teacher conferences, the plan for early retirement, priorities for the 2023 Iowa Legislative Session, the annual progress report and the public purpose for purchasing state t-shirts for qualified athletes and activities. They will also consider for approval a request of over $1 million for special education allowable growth, the 28E agreement with Grandwood Consortium for the current school year, appointing a representative to the Iowa Association of School Boards Delegate Assembly, and an agreement with Woodward-Granger School District to share high school girls’ wrestling.

The meeting will be at 6pm at the Brady Library of the high school.
