Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers volleyball was on the court on Thursday night when they took on the Dallas Center – Grimes Mustangs in a Dallas County showdown, and the Tigers weren’t able to find enough down the stretch, falling by the score of 22-25, 9-25, and 17-25. ADM moves to 17-5 on the year while DCG moves to 18-13 on the year.
The Tigers got out to a slow start in the first set but were able to put together a good run to make the set close, but couldn’t recover down the stretch. Set 2 got out of control quickly for the Tigers, as the Mustangs were able to string together multiple points quickly to take the set. The third set, ADM was able to swap points back and forth but DCG was able to put together a rally to take the match.
Their next match will be on Tuesday at home against Carroll, as the Tigers will be honoring the five seniors on their roster for senior night in Adel.
