Tuesday, October 4th
12:11pm: A caller advised of a Verbal Fight occurring between a couple at 307 North Olive Street. Officers arrived and spoke to the couple and learned that nothing physical had occurred. During the interaction, an officer saw a narcotic smoking device in plain view on a table. The officer seized the item for testing.
2:50pm: Herbie Lawrence spoke with an officer about receiving Threatening Text Messages. The officer advised Lawrence to block the subject.
4:11pm: Shawn Olson reported a dog inside a residence in the 200 Block of South Chestnut will not stop barking. The officer made contact with an owner, who advised they will take care of the issue.
6:01pm: Tom Schmidt reported a Stray Cat in the 100 Block of West Wilcox Way. The officer did not locate the reported animal.
6:13pm: Brian Costello reported a bicycle parked in the street in the 500 Block of West Monroe Street. The officer removed the bike from the roadway.
7:29pm: A caller advised of a male on a bicycle on North Elm Street, who was hard to see after dark. The officer spoke to the subject, who had lights on the bike.
8:44pm: Angela Milakovich reported her juvenile son had run away from 408 North Cedar. She was chasing after the youth, but could not catch him. The officer located the juvenile near State and Wilson Ave. The officer provided the parent a child a ride back home.
