Monday night the West Central Valley cross country teams traveled to Greenfield for the Nodaway Valley Cross Country Invitational. Between the high school and middle school teams there were three athletes that medaled.

For the middle school girls, Dallas Morgan was able to grab an 8th place finish in the 2 mile run. For the high school teams who ran a 5k, Taitlin Kock placed 6th for the girls and Cael Hazen placed 13th for the boys.

The next competition this week will be another cross country meet, as the teams travel to Saydel, for the Saydel Cross Country Invitational. Other teams from the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area include the Greene County Rams and Perry Bluejays.
