The Panora City Council will meet in regular session on Monday.

The Council approved establishing a new school zone from Panther Drive to West Clay Street with no parking within this school zone and established a speed limit of 20 miles per hour. Next, Council approved a contract and performance and/or payments bonds for the Jackson Street Improvement Project and agreement subject to the city attorney approving to allow Panora Emergency Medical Service to provide transportation services for Audubon County.

The Council also purchased a plow/dump/spreader truck for $55,000 and approved selling two older model trucks and playground equipment at the discretion of public works. 00Additionally, the Council approved an appointment of Courtney Hodges to the Planning and Zoning Commission and a resolution to dispose of retired storm sirens to the city of Linden.
