As September continues, it is the month of signing up for a library card nationwide.
Panora Public Library Director Kim Finnegan says they look forward to signing up anyone for a library card.
“Important to have a library card. Why? Because it is free. And libraries play a role in the education of children and adults in the library. The libraries have lots of services that are available. We have programs that are available to children and adults. We encourage families to come to the library and get resources that are available.”
Finnegan states that library card members can check out books and audio books, DVDs, movies, magazines, internet hot spots and more. She adds it’s very easy to acquire a library card and all you need is a form of identification and something that proves you live in Panora. For more call the Panora Public Library.
