Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers cross country competed in a home meet on Monday against multiple schools at the Hillcrest Country and both teams were able to put together some quality finishes, with the girls grabbing a 1st place finish out of ten teams and boys finishing 1st as well out of eight teams.
The girls were able to keep their great season going as they found another first place finish from Geneva Timmerman, who grabbed a time of 18 minutes 45 seconds. Freshmen Haley James was able to finish 6th with a time of 20 minutes 46 seconds, and sophomore Ella Goodrich with a time of 21 minutes 31 seconds.
The boys were able to get all of their scoring runners inside the top eight, with Torin Timmerman first with a time of 17 minutes 16 seconds, Harrison Desmarais gets 2nd at a mark of 17 minutes 59 seconds, Hunter Landphair is 4th and Issac Chapman is 5th with a time of 18 minutes 2 seconds, and Issac Peters is 8th at 18 minutes 21 seconds.
ADM girls will be competing Friday up in Minnesota, the boys will have over a week off before a meet on Thursday, September 29th at Pella.
