The Adel DeSoto Minburn Community School District Board of Education will hold their regular April meeting tonight.

Items on the agenda include the fiscal year 2015 budget hearing and approval, setting a public hearing for an amendment to the 2013-2014 budget and approval of certified staff additions.

An agreement between the district’s Education Association and certified employees will then be approved for fiscal year 2015, along with setting a public hearing in regards to measuring in school time in hours versus days.

Next the board will approve a tax exemption certificate, and continuing disclosure certificate, authorize the issuance of bonds, name depositories and call for bids for the high school roof project.

A mini bus purchase will then be considered, along with the music and choir trip to Orlando in 2015, a contract for the athletic fields and a teacher leadership and compensation planning update.

The meeting takes place at 6pm in the district board room in Adel.
