The Jefferson City Council will meet tomorrow night.

The Council will consider for approval the second reading to amend an ordinance to increase water rates to five percent and the second reading to amend another ordinance to increase sewer rates to 11 percent to start next fiscal year on July 1, 2023. Additionally, the Council will consider approving writing off bad debt from 2010-11, the first reading of an ordinance to increase residential landfill fees and sanitation rates, the second change order for the airport runway extension, the eighth pay estimate for the runway extension, and completion of the project. 

They will also consider for approval the first pay estimate for the Russell Street water main replacement project, awarding the bid for the swimming pool bathhouse renovation project, and the administrative contract with Region XII Council of Governments for an upper story grant application for 100 East State Street. Finally, the Council will hear a quarterly update with Jefferson Matters: A Main Street and Chamber Community.
