Senator Joni Ernst, and Iowa State Senator, Zach Nunn visited the new Dallas County Sheriff’s Office Friday addressing the border crisis. After trips to the border, Ernst and Nunn say Federal Customs and Border Patrol agents report thirty to sixty percent of females trafficked are forced into prostitution and narcotics are the common means of paying back traffickers called Coyotes. They say every county is in a border crisis, as the I-35 corridor is now the main conduit for transporting drugs, guns, and humans.
