A retail promotion continues today in Jefferson for people wanting to get deals and stock up on fall decor. 

Jefferson Matters: A Main Street and Chamber Community Tourism and Events Coordinator Matt Wetrich says the Fall Open Houses includes several retailers throughout Jefferson and he describes the increased amount of shoppers there have been when these types of promotions happen the second Saturday of the month.

“It’s definitely what keeps them going for them to know like it’s worth doing this, it’s worth being open on Saturdays and really highlighting this. I know The Centennial has made a point to be open on these second Saturdays as well. So kind of creating this whole second Saturdays environment or ecosystem if you will of different businesses, and places to eat, and things like that. Yeah they definitely see an increase in traffic.”
