wcv-1-2

Tuesday night the West Central Valley Wildcats volleyball team traveled to Guthrie Center for their game against the AC/GC Chargers. The Wildcats were able to keep it close in all three sets, but ultimately came away winless. In the first set, the WCV team was outscored 25-14, but they were able to keep it a little closer in the second and third sets, only being outscored 25-19 in each of them.

Last week, the cross country teams hosted the 9th Annual Wildcat Classic. The girls team came away placing 3rd out of 11 teams, and grabbing 3 medals. Junior Chasey Rowan led the way with a 4th place finish, while fellow junior Taitlin Koch grabbed herself 5th place, and sophomore Zalina Morse rounded out the medalers by giving a 15th place performance.

The volleyball team will be back in action next week, while the cross country teams will compete this Saturday at a meet hosted by the Greene County Rams.
