Mary J. Barnett Memorial Library continues their book club with an upcoming session next week. 

The selected book for the month of September is the “Queen’s Gambit,” and the discussion will be led by the library personnel. Library Director Jeri Hawkins says they meet the second Tuesday of each month and they try and be transparent on what books are scheduled month to month. 

“They kind of made a list of different books and then they took a poll from the members and they voted on the book so Cass (Fronapfel) has a whole list already made out for the books, it is available on our website under book club where you can see what book their reading from month to month.”

She says new members are always welcome but they must register on their website or by calling Mary J. Barnett Memorial Library.
