Dallas Center – Grimes volleyball was looking to put up a strong performance on Tuesday evening when they took on the Indianola Indians, and the Mustangs found just that, stunning the host Indians by the score of three sets to two 16-25, 25-20, 16-25, 25-20, and 15-10. DCG moves to 6-4 and Indianola picks up their first loss of the year at 9-1.

Indianola was sharp in the first set as DCG struggled to slow down the high powered attack, but the Mustangs were able to sharpen up in set two to even it at 1. Set three Indianola was able to find their ways dominating throughout with multiple runs, but DCG was able to swing back, as they found a major victory to force the fifth set. It was a high intensity set, and the Mustangs were able to find a way to break through to pick up a monster conference win to move to 2-0 in Little Hawkeye Conference play.

DCG will have some time off before some matches next week, as they will look for some positive things from their practices the next week.
