ADM football is off to a solid 2-0 start and will be hosting their first home game of the season on Friday night, when they welcome the North Polk Comets to Adel in a pair of undefeated teams facing off.

Both teams have gotten solid wins with ADM beating Gilbert and Ballard while North Polk was able to beat a pair of 4A schools in Dallas Center – Grimes and Pella. They both did it in different ways, with ADM averaging 51 points per game while leading 3A in touchdowns scored so far with 14 on the year. North Polk has used a strong defense and running game to victory, with the defense giving up 23 points through two games.

Both teams were able to make the most recent Varsity Bound rankings with ADM ranked 3rd and North Polk ranked 6th. This game could potentially have playoff implications down the road and would be a nice victory for either club.
