ADM Tigers football will be hosting their first home game of the season on Friday, when they welcome the North Polk Comets to town in an interesting matchup between the two schools.

Both teams have put together nice wins in their first two games, ADM beating Gilbert and Ballard and North Polk defeating a pair of 4A teams in Pella and Dallas Center – Grimes.

Both teams have been able to find victories in different styles of play, with ADM leading 3A in total touchdowns this season with 14 so far, while averaging 51 points per game. North Polk has been able to use defense and a good running game to their advantage, as they have given up 23 points through two games so far.

In the latest Varsity Bound rankings, ADM football is ranked 3rd in 3A and North Polk is 6th. Two quality teams will be facing off against each other on Friday, with a win that could play a major factor in terms of playoffs down the road.
