A Jefferson female will remain behind bars following her trial involving assault charges from January.
23 year-old Mischell Cristen Lampe was sentenced to two years in jail and a maximum of two years with the Department of Adult Corrections with all sentences to run concurrently after she pled guilty to assault and alcohol-related charges from her involvement in two incidents from January 27th. The reports said that part of the prison sentence may be credited from her time already spent in jail leading up to her sentencing on Monday.
Greene County Sheriff Steve Haupert previously told Raccoon Valley Radio that late at night on Monday, January 27th, Lampe was accused of assaulting a gas station employee in Churdan at Sparky’s One Stop. She also caused a disturbance at another Sparky’s gas station in Jefferson in which she was accused of assaulting two peace officers while under the influence of alcohol.
According to court documents, Lampe pled guilty to an aggravated misdemeanor for her third offense for public intoxication, serious misdemeanors for two counts of assaulting a peace officer and a simple misdemeanor for simple assault.
The other suspect, 21 year-old Zakkariah Dylan-Levi Boudewyn is accused of a Class D Felony for criminal mischief, an aggravated misdemeanor for operating a vehicle without the owner’s consent and a serious misdemeanor for assaulting a peace officer. His trial is scheduled to begin on May 5th.
