12:22am: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with an unruly patient in the 1000 block of West Lincoln Way.

2:36am: Roberto Villarreal 67 of Perry was booked into the jail for operating while intoxicated 1st offense.

8:27am: A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 800 block of Hills Avenue, Churdan.

9:47am: A deputy attempted to locate a dog running at large on N Avenue near 260 th Street.

10:23am: A deputy investigated a criminal mischief complaint in the 700 block of North Street, Churdan.

1:00pm: Suanne Winters 51 of Rippey was booked into the jail to serve a sentence.

8:24pm: A deputy investigated a suspicious person in the 1000 block of N Avenue.

9:00pm: A deputy removed a deer from the roadway on 237th Street near Jordan Avenue.

Saturday, August 27th

11:13am: The Sheriff and a deputy assisted the Iowa State Patrol with a pursuit on 285th Street near Rippey. Ian Patterson 42 of Des Moines was arrested on Deer Avenue near 310th Street in Boone County for failure to wear seatbelt, failure to obey stop or yield sign, driving while barred, possession of a controlled substance 3rd or subsequent offense, and eluding- injury owi or drugs or participating in a felony.

3:52pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 130th Street near X Avenue.

5:41pm: A deputy investigated a burning complaint in the 900 block of High Street, Scranton.

8:19pm: A deputy investigated a fireworks complaint on Livingston Street and 140th Street, Churdan.

11:07pm: A deputy investigated a single vehicle accident on 305th Street near R Avenue. A 17-year-old lost control of a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee on water on the roadway and entered the ditch causing an estimated 8,000 dollars damage.

Sunday, August 28th

7:24am: A deputy investigated a suspicious person in the 500 block of North 16th Street, Grand Junction.

8:29am: A deputy investigated a fight in the 500 block of East Main Street. Alex Treft 31 of Grand Junction was arrested for assault causing bodily injury. Elaine Norgart 54 of Grand Junction was arrested for trespass 1st offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, and assault causing injury.

9:53am: A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 500 block of North 16 th Street, Grand Junction.

10:50am: Ian Patterson 42 of Des Moines was booked into the jail for failure to wear a seatbelt, failure to obey stop or yield sign, driving while barred, possession of a controlled substance 3rd or subsequent offense, Eluding- injury, drugs or participate in a felony.

1:29pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 220th Street near U Avenue.

2:00pm: Elaine Norgart 54 of Grand Junction was booked into the jail for trespass 1st offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, and assault causing injury.

2:40pm: Alex Treft 31 of Grand Junction was booked into the jail for assault causing injury.

3:20pm: Miranda Schlicht 23 of Ralston was booked into the jail for failure to appear.

4:59pm: A deputy assisted with horses out on J Avenue near 270th Street.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
