While the Perry Chamber of Commerce plans many events throughout the year, they are also in the midst of their own projects. 

Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says there are always projects going on behind the scenes including the community guide and member directory which hasn’t been produced for a couple of years and includes history and events among other information. 

“We are really, really excited to finally have these coming out. They get mailed out to every residence in the Perry zip code and then we will have quite a stash at the office to share as well. We get a lot of requests from welcome centers, people coming to visit Perry, businesses that are hiring to give that out as welcome to Perry. So, it’s nice to have a large stash of those on hand.” 

Pasutti tells Raccoon Valley Radio another project is the launching of a new website which is currently live and Pasutti says the new website will make it easier to find the information people are looking for. 

“Still a work in progress for content and building out some event pages. But it was really important to us to get the calendar, and the job board, and the member directory up and live.”
