Funeral services for Merlin Brockmann, age 92, of Carroll, will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, August 22, 2022 at Zion Lutheran Church in Arcadia.  Burial will be in the Westside Cemetery with military honors by the Iowa National Guard and American Legion Alfred Rossman Post 196 of Westside.

    Visitation will be held at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll from 5 – 7 P.M. on Sunday.  The casket will be moved to Zion Lutheran Church in Arcadia at 9:30 A.M. on Monday where visitation will resume until 10:15 A.M.

     In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to American Legion Alfred Rossman Post 196 in Westside or Zion Lutheran Church in Arcadia.

       Merlin is survived by two sons, Mark and his wife Denise of Opelousas, LA; Cory and his wife Catherine of Beaverton, OR; and a daughter Ellen McDaris and her husband John of Gulf Breeze, FL; grandchildren Sarah Harkin, Hannah Feller, Melissa Brockmann, Stephanie Brockmann, and Amanda Wertz; and, great-grandchildren Neal Wertz, Owen Feller, and Oliver Tyykila.
