Bryce Stalder

Greene County High School baseball senior Bryce Stalder was named to the Class 2A second All-State team by voters from the Iowa Baseball Coaches Association. The organization names three All-State team with 16 players per team and 48 honorees per class of Iowa high school baseball. There are four classes in Iowa high school baseball with 4A have the largest enrollments, followed by 3A, 2A, and 1A.

Stalder batted .476 as a senior with a .560 on-base percentage. He had six doubles and four triples among his 30 hits and he scored 17 runs. Stalder was a shortstop/pitcher for the 8-15 Rams, who lost in the second round of the postseason to eventual 2A State Champion Van Meter. He plans on furthering his academic and baseball career at Grand View University in Des Moines.
