The City of Panora is gearing up for their town celebration that is three days of fun events.
Panorama Days will go on from Friday through Sunday this week. Panora Chamber of Commerce President Kristin Rumelhart says there will be over 40 events going on everyday during Panorama Days with a few changes to different activities.
“We’ve actually had some requests to try to bring back a street dance. So this is the year we have an awesome sponsor. Wood Duck Landscapes is sponsoring Charm School Dropouts from 830 to 11:30 p.m. on Friday night. They will be in front of the gazebo this year facing the businesses on Main Street.”
Rumelhart also says the price for children to participate in the Kids Zone inflatables will change to $5 for unlimited use. She adds that the Panorama High School Junior class is changing their fundraising activity this year, which is now called “The Bathtub Races.” “After the parade, they will have the bathtub races in the street and the junior class will sell water balloons to throw at them. The funds go to after prom activities.”
