Ahead of the start of the football season it’s time to take a look at and examine each of the matchups during the regular season for the Panorama Panthers football team.

When the Panthers football team takes the field for the first time this year they will face off against the Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks in Colfax on August 26th at 7 p.m. The Panthers and Tigerhawks finished last season with similar records as the Panthers finished 1-7 overall with the Tigerhawks finishing 3-6.

Last season the Panthers emerged victorious over the Tigerhawks by a final score of 26-21 with Ryan Cogil rushing 20 times for 203 yards and two touchdowns while Cayden VanMeer went 7/15 for 81 yards. Both of these players will return for the Panthers this year. For the Tigerhawks Cole Bracewell moved the ball well going 19/41 for 200 yards and a touchdown while rushing for 52 yards and a touchdown but the Tigerhawks will be missing Bracewell in this year’s matchup as he was a senior last season.

The Panthers will be looking to find improvement this season as they are returning a large group of players but did lose 11 seniors who played their last downs of football for Panorama last year. The Panthers will be returning a strong core of players as they will look to improve on their season from a year ago.

As the break in sports continues we will take the time to breakdown each regular season game coming up on the schedule ahead of the start of the regular season on August 26th when the Panthers travel to Colfax to take on the Tigerhawks.
