As we continue looking at the stats recorded by both baseball and softball players for the West Central Valley Wildcats today, we’ll start with senior Dalton Harwood from the baseball team. He started in 2 of the 4 games he played in, recording 1 at bat, and 1 run. He was walked once, struck out once, and successful on his 1 base steal. Harwoodhad 1 assist and 1 put out for a fielding percentage of 1.000.

Junior Kamryn Nourse was one of many that was recognized by the West Central Activities Conference for the softball team. She started and played in all 37 games, making 119 trips to the plate, scoring 37 runs, and hit 42 times. Of those hits, 27 were singles, 11 were doubles, 3 were triples, and 1 was a homerun.

Nourse tallied 30 RBI’s, was walked 11 times, hit by 1 pitch, reached on error 8 times, and was struck out 8 times as well. She recorded a batting average of .353, an on base percentage of .412, and a slugging percentage of .521. She was successful on both of her base steals, had 4 assists, 219 put outs, and a fielding percentage of .982.
