While the season may be over for the Panorama Panthers baseball team, they have multiple players who received some form of postseason recognition.

The Panthers Baseball team participated in Class 2A Substate 2 District 4 and the Panthers faced off against the Greene County Rams in the first round of districts but the Rams emerged victorious by a final score of 7-0 which ended the Panthers year. The season concluded with the Panthers Baseball team finishing with an overall record of 7-17 on the year.

After the season concluded three players earned some form of recognition in the postseason including senior Austin Block who received honorable mention for All-West Central Activities Conference, sophomore Hunter Dishman also received an honorable mention for All-West Central Activities Conference and finally senior Brice Taylor earned a Second Team All-West Central Activities Conference vote for infielder and First Team for All-SW District 1B. All three of these players contributed to the team this year and had their hard work recognized and two of them won’t be present on the team next year.

While the season didn’t end the exactly way they would have hoped falling in the first round of districts to the Greene County Rams by a score of 7-0, the Panthers baseball team still has plenty of positives to take away from this season, including a young core that should remain intact next year.
