The Guthrie County Hospital was awarded as one of the 2022 nation’s top 20 best critical access hospitals in the country 

According to the Chartis Center for Rural Health, Guthrie County Hospital received a top critical access hospital composite score for their overall performance which is based on quality, outcomes, patient perspectives and cost. The Chartis Center for Rural Health is a healthcare advisory firm that honors outstanding performance among the nation’s rural hospitals based on the results from their own performance index. The index measures a variety of areas of a hospital that include hospital operations and finance.
