Greene County junior kicker Nathan Behne has found a unique way to help battle childhood cancer. He’s joined the KICK-IT Champion program powered by Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation and is seeking donations, 100% of which will go to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation in the effort to eliminate childhood cancers.

Behne is asking the public to make a monetary donation outright, or pledge a certain dollar amount for every point he scores by making field goals and extra points for the Greene County Rams in the 2022 football season. He would like to raise $2,500 for the cause.

To donate, go to KICK-IT.org and search the name Nathan Behne.

Behne recently was in Tennessee for a Kohl’s Kicking Camp. He has two more years of high school left, but has aspirations of being a college football kicker. The camps are the brainchild for Jamie Kohl, the former Iowa State University kicker.
