The High School football approaching, Adair Casey/Guthrie Center has released its schedule for the 2022 season.
AC/GC is looking to carry the momentum after a school record 9 wins and two playoff victories in the 2021 season. In the year of 2022, the Chargers will play the same oppenants as last year but the home and away has changed. In Week 1, the Chargers will hit the road to take on the Greene County Rams, last year both teams matchuped up in an instant classic going into overtime with AC/GC winning on a two point conversation by Gavin Cornelison. In Week 2, the Chargers will meet up with Woodward-Granger for their first home game, this matchup last year was lopsided with AC/GC winning 62 to 6 on the road. Other oppenants in order on the schedule will be at Des Moines Christian, home against West Central Valley, home against Nodaway, away against Interstate-35, at Panorama and finally home against Van Meter to conclude the season in October.
