The Perry Chamber of Commerce will officially mark the opening of a new building for a business in the community next week. 

The Chamber will host a ribbon cutting at It’s Hair in Perry beginning at noon next Friday to celebrate the business’ new building and location. Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says the business has recently moved locations.

“Not necessarily a new business but a new Chamber Member and a new location. So, Stephanie Garrett just bought the building formerly known as a barber shop years and years ago. So, she was renting a space and now she bought this location, this building downtown, and has renovated the inside and has moved her salon to that location.”

Pasutti tells Raccoon Valley Radio she encourages everyone to come check out the new space. 

“It’s also a chance to get in and see the inside of those buildings, meet the owners that you might not be able to on a regular basis and so that’s been a really popular piece of these ribbon cuttings.”
