Greene County had two players on the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference baseball first all-conference team. Bryce Stalder was named at shortstop and Brayden Roberts was a first team catcher. The complete all-conference teams were released last week.
Head coach Matt Paulsen talked with Raccoon Valley Radio about Roberts. “I’ve been really pleased with the progress Brayden has made. He started catching some on the varsity level as an eighth grader. He hit the ball very well this year (.344) average and does a good job behind the plate. We’re excited to have him as one the team leaders next year.
Roberts also had 11 runs batted in, one home run, one triple, and four doubles.
