There will be close to 20 things to do at the Adair County Fair tomorrow.

First, the day will start off with donuts provided by Farm Bureau Financial at the courtyard starting at 7am until they are gone. Then at the Mid American Arena the Market and Breeding Sheep Show will begin at 8:30am. 

Other activities include the dog agility show at the fair shop building starting at 11am, Pride of Iowa Contest at noon in the 4H/FFA Center, Geocaching in the courtyard from 1-3pm, drawing demonstration make and take at 2pm in the Varied Industries building, at 5pm the gaming competition featuring Super Smash Bros and the Bucket/Bottle Calf and Bottle Lamb Show will start at the Mid American Arena. .Adair County Fair Board President Gina Meisenheimer says the FFA kids always put on a show for the Ag Olympics every year which will be in the courtyard at 4:45pm. 

“They like stack hay and they might milk something or it’s different every year in the FFA, kids usually put that on, so I’m not sure what they’re doing this year, but they usually have a really good time at it. I watched them do it before.”

The night will cap off with the Discover The Fairgrounds Scavenger Hunt from 5-6pm in the courtyard and the grandstand Demolition Derby will start at 8pm. 

Raccoon Valley Radio’s Big Red Radio will be live on location from 10 am to 6 pm from the fairgrounds in Greenfield providing music and other announcements.
