The City of Adair has officially lifted its water boil advisory after water samples came back clear of contaminants following a water main break on Tuesday night.
City Clerk Michelle King says the town’s water water main break happened around 9:20pm Tuesday night along 5th Street in Adair.
With water samples confirmed clean by the University of Iowa’s Hygienic Laboratory in Ankeny, King says it is safe for residents to again use water for consumption or cooking purposes.
