Greene County finished the 2002 high school baseball season with eight wins and 15 losses. Stealing bases was an area the Rams had some success in, going 67 of 78 on stolen base attempts.
Leading the way was senior Bryce Stalder. The Grand View University baseball recruit was 22 of 24 when it came to stealing a base. Senior Max Riley was nine for 11 and senior Justin Stream was nine for 12. No other Greene County player swiped more than four bases.
The Rams will have several openings in the lineup for 2023 with six seniors finishing the season and five in the starting lineup on a regular basis. Coach Matt Paulsen told Raccoon Valley Radio several younger players had successful JV seasons with at least a few getting some varsity playing time. Much of the pitching staff graduated, as did the majority of starts on the infield.
