The Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center basketball had a shooting clinic in early June for the youth along with high school players.
Head Coach Lance Kading says the basketball clinic was ran by Craig Duoma who was a former player at Northwestern College and a college coach at Pella University. Kading describes what his players took away from the shooting clinic.
“Gave them all a printout of his workout and ran them through it that day and kind of showed them how things went. And I think the kids really appreciated that because as far as form, shooting form and mechanics, people can a bunch of different people can tell you different things, but I think they really appreciated having a workout and saying, When I get to the gym, this is how I need to work. Then go at game speed and get a workout in.”
Kading says they had over 15 high school athletes and over 20 boys and girls at the clinic so he was very pleased with the participation.
