A local business is collecting supplies during the month of July to help support AHeinz 57 Pet Rescue and Transport in DeSoto. 

Specialized Health Chiropractic-Pediatric and Prenatal Office in Adel is hosting Christmas in July and participants are asked to donate items that would go to the shelter and if they do they will receive a complimentary new patient exam.

Some of the supplies that can be donated include dog food, scoopable cat litter, cat trees, squeaky toys and cat beds among other things. The event will culminate with a Patient Appreciation Day on July 25th.
