Greene County Medical Center reminds everyone of some ways to get kids ready for the upcoming school year.
The Greene County Public Health Department is hosting free Back to School Clinics on July 20th and August 17th from 4-6:15pm at the public health office. These evening clinics are by appointment only and will include lead/hemoglobin screenings, along with dental screenings and vaccinations. Additionally, there will be information about backpacks.
The Greene County Family Medicine Clinic is offering free sports physicals on July 27th from 7-9am and August 3rd from 3-6pm. No insurance or appointments are needed, but you must have a parental consent and sports form with you. Public Health immunizations will also be available those days.
Additionally, Greene County Medical Center has behavioral health services, speciality clinics, 21st Century Rehabilitation available as other resources. Finally, every Wednesday, Greene County Public Health holds immunization clinics by appointment only. Contact them at 515-386-3229.
