The Russia war against Ukraine has been waging since the middle of February and one US Senator doesn’t see an end in sight soon.

US Senator Charles Grassley talks about the military conflict in Ukraine.

“If there is light at the end of the tunnel, it’s the bravery of the Ukrainian soldiers and what they’re doing. I think right now the American people are standing behind what we’re trying to do. It kind of depends on the patience of the American people to see it through.”

Grassley believes the Russian forces have gained some more ground in Ukraine, having stopped efforts to overtake the capital of Kiev. He argues that if the US can get defensive weapons to the Ukrainian army, they will still have a chance of winning the war with Russia.
