The Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center softball season comes to a close with a 11-9 loss to Panorama Friday night.
The Lady Charger got off to a hot start scoring six runs on four hits in the bottom of the 1st inning. But the Panorama Lady Panthers scored three in the 2nd inning and five runs in the 5th inning and held the Chargers to just three runs after the 1st inning. The Lady Chargers were missing Emerson Van Meter on the mound but the offense stepped up with Jenna Rowley having a nice game going 2-3 at the plate and making some nice plays from centerfield along with Hayden Coffman going 3-4 and driving in two runs but it wasn’t enough to keep their season alive. Their final record will be (6-14) in conference and (8-20) overall.
