Perry residents who may be looking to get rid of some waste they have around their homes will have the opportunity to dispose of it for free soon. 

Running from 9 a.m. until noon on July 16th the City of Perry will be collecting household hazardous waste in the police/fire station parking lot located at 908 Willis Avenue in Perry. 

The list of accepted items includes antifreeze, glues, gasoline or kerosene, used motor oil and used oil filters, oil based paint and pesticides among other things. Items that won’t be accepted include asbestos, ammunition, electronics, explosives and latex paint among other things.
