The Perry Public Library will take a trip to the Voas Nature Area in Minburn this week to spend some time outdoors.
Families and children of all ages are invited to join library staff at the Voas Nature Center building at 9:30 a.m. this Friday. Those attending should dress for the outdoors and bring sunscreen, bug repellant, your favorite gear and a picnic lunch too if they’d like.
Participants will get to enjoy the outdoors while also digging for fossils and sweeping for bugs with the Dallas County Conservation Board. The program is free and there is no registration required.
