As Dallas County prepares to update its hazard mitigation plan in 2023, residents are encouraged to participate in a survey. 

Dallas County Emergency Management is working to update the multi-jurisdictional hazard mitigation plan over the next year with the goal of reducing risk to hazards before they occur which include tornadoes, floods, winter storms, dam failures and more. 

The public is invited to provide input during this process through an online survey for feedback on hazards that will be evaluated and opinions on types of activities that should be considered to reduce future impacts.
